The Union College Electrical Engineering Industrial Advisory Council met on September 26, 2001. At this meeting, the following resolution was passed:
Be it resolved that the Union College Electrical Engineering Industrial Advisory Council (EEIAC) supports the Union College Civil Engineering Department. In particular, the EEIAC does not support phasing out Civil Engineering from Union College Engineering. The EEIAC believes that eliminating the Civil Engineering Department is a drastic measure that will have a clear negative impact on Engineering at Union and the College as a whole. The EEIAC recommends that the Union College Administration carefully examine the other proposed solutions.
Sincerely,
Jill Breedlove
