Note: Apparently Christie Sorum has convinced the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees that Civil Engineering should be eliminated. The administration is again trying to bypass the faculty governance system and force its plan to get rid of Civil Engineering through the Board. It appears that the work of the sub-council this summer may have been for naught, and the faculty discussion and vote on the options will be ignored. The administration is once again flaunting and abusing its power.
